Watch the Recording of 'Embracing the Digital Space, Part I: Beginner's Module' | A Workshop for Dance and Music Practitioners
With the aim of familiarising music and dance practitioners/teachers/organisers with digital platforms and possibilities of the digital space, IFA announced a two-part online workshop titled Embracing the Digital Space facilitated by Keerthi Kumar. With assembly and physical contact remaining out of bounds for a while now, artists are seeking to engage with audiences and students through online mediums, and this is part of our efforts to support artists during this difficult time.
Here is the recording of Part I: Beginner’s Module that took place on June 16, 2020. In this session, Keerthi Kumar takes the participants through various online platforms that can be used for performing, teaching or generating work for the virtual space/virtual audiences.
Watch the video to be introduced to the basic set-up of most commonly used devices; relevant apps that enable online interaction; audio and video set up; the idea of a digital auditorium/digital classroom for performing, teaching and learning online; and monetisation through digital technology.
