IFA Annual Report 2022-2023 | Our Work at a Glance
Presenting: the Annual Report for April 2022 to March 2023!
Explore IFA in 2022-23, as we responded to new ways of understanding, facilitating, and creating spaces for artistic journeys. We continued to share our work through various online showcases, created new platforms for engagements with The IFA Archive, hosted a Urdu-Hindi poetry festival, participated in cultural exchanges across the country, offered training programmes to artists and teachers in Karnataka, and also organised conferences related to arts education and archives and museums. From the 1000+ proposals received and evaluated at various levels, we implemented 60 projects that explored a range of artistic concerns across multiple disciplines and locations. These projects delved into new territories and highlighted hidden narratives, allowing artists to express the personal and the political in nuanced ways. From projects that explore community histories, to ones that bring out new forms of experimentation, this report speaks to the dynamic nature of arts and culture in India and we welcome you to bear witness to it.
